Beloved Mother

I dream of you, Mother, when the sun rises and casts its golden rays over the newly awakening earth, and I think of you, Mother, when the sun has fallen and the moon looks down, surrounded by stars that shine like tiny silver teardrops floating in the forever blackened sky.

A long awaited picture... I uploaded a WIP of this ages ago when I only had her face shaded. It's been a long work in progress... I finally got off my ass and finished it 2 nights ago. So enjoy.

This is Feather Dyad, a wonderful character played by a friend of mine, and her son Tartarus Blackbird (my character). I just felt like capturing the moment and drawing them together. And yes... I realize her arm is ridiulously long in this picture. Sorry.
